MaDCaff and the Great Get Together at Victoria Hall, Lampeter

By madcaff|July 4, 2017

On Saturday 17th June, MaDCaff was, as usual, a delightful mix of cake, poetry and song, but with a slightly more sombre feel as we paid tribute to murdered MP, Jo Cox, and our very own regular MaDCaffer, Steve Acworth, who sadly died suddenly last month. The audience were invited to add their mark on a commemorative banner which was bought to the event by Dinah Mullholland, Ceredigion Labour candidate,

MaDCaff at L;ttle Sparks, Part 1 and Part 2

By madcaff|September 9, 2016

MaDCaff at Small World – yep, we’re back

By madcaff|May 7, 2015

It was great to be back at Small World one year on from the start of MaDCaff. The event was well attended, with a diverse range of performers and performances. Rachel then read out a poem she had written on the subject of depression and

By madcaff|July 18, 2014

At last, here’s the event report from our Lampeter MaDCaff – one day before the next event – see Facebook for details of that, but first enjoy the memories of our evening in the Victoria Hall, Lampeter. We had a great time at the Victoria Hall in Lampeter last month. It was a quieter MaDCaff than previous events but this was very welcome, with relaxed atmosphere. We heard songs from

Yes, we are being noticed, and getting some interesting questions…..

By madcaff|May 14, 2014

Last week Miranda and Rachel had a chat with Katherine Landergan who is a Graduate Journalism Student at City University, London, although she is actually from the other side of the pond. Katherine is writing about people with mental health conditions who have found unexpected  artistic benefits from seeing the world in a different way. She would very much like to talk to anyone who has experienced this personally. We are trying
