MaDCaff at Small World – yep, we’re back

By madcaff|May 7, 2015

It was great to be back at Small World one year on from the start of MaDCaff. The event was well attended, with a diverse range of performers and performances. The Tom Gray Band opened the event with some lovely jazz covers, followed by Iain and Dixey, a fantastic and visual music and dance duet. Rachel then read out a poem she had written on the subject of depression and

… and we’re back

By madcaff|March 12, 2015

We’re still here, in fact we’re at Small World Theatre, Cardigan on Saturday March 14th MaDCaff is returning after a winter hiatus with more music and dance from their pool of talented artists, all of whom have been affected by mental illness and, of course, the usual cake and chat breaks. This will be MaDCaff’s third appearance at Small World Theatre and we expect the usual eclectic mix of performances.

MaDCaff at Small World – Big Space

By madcaff|August 12, 2014

MaDCaff held their final event in July, before having a summer break. It was a great event held in the beautiful Small World Theatre, Cardigan. We were treated to some great songs from Jo Couzens, and Amanda Painting, and played some beautiful guitar by both Tom Gray and Marc Gordon. Kate Field was there again too giving us her satirical poetry, and of course so were Wifi Banana, Steve Acworth, Lucy

MaDCaff at the Victoria Hall

By madcaff|July 18, 2014

At last, here’s the event report from our Lampeter MaDCaff – one day before the next event – see Facebook for details of that, but first enjoy the memories of our evening in the Victoria Hall, Lampeter. We had a great time at the Victoria Hall in Lampeter last month. It was a quieter MaDCaff than previous events but this was very welcome, with relaxed atmosphere. We heard songs from

Watch out, MaDCaff may be contagious

By madcaff|July 9, 2014

So, I’ve been a bit remiss about putting up the blog report of our Lampeter gig. And that’s not for any kind of BAD reason, it’s more like a case of lots of good reasons… So, the report will be up shortly but in the meantime, look at our Media page for the pictures, which more or less tell the story of the event by themselves. So one of the things

MaDCaff at the Morlan

By madcaff|May 22, 2014

Well, MaDCaff is certainly getting popular. We had a really great turnout at our second Aberystwyth event at the Morlan Centre, on 17th May. The lineup of talent was even more diverse than before – and that’s saying something. Dai Sharkey kicked things off with a rousing set of some tracks from his album as well as a few new songs. Dai isn’t being lazy, he’s sitting down because he

MaDCaff at Small World

By madcaff|April 16, 2014

MaDCaff are really happy about the successful event we held last Saturday at Small World Theatre, Cardigan. More than fifty people came out to enjoy an eclectic variety of music and dance acts, performed by people living with mental illness. We were really delighted that there were so many performers eager to get on stage and showcase such a diversity of talents and styles. On arrival MaDCaff guests were treated to
